Detector Activation (Detact)

Detector Activation is a utility for quickly estimating the activation time for heat and smoke detectors as well as sprinklers.

The calculation method used in the application is based on the method and DETACT-T2 code presented in "Methods to Calculate the Response Time of Heat and Smoke Detectors Installed Below Large Unobstructed Ceilings" by David D. Evans and David W. Stroup, published by the National Bureau of Standards in 1985.
